New recipe is terrible
The dark rye with the addition of port was elegant, smooth, and with a unique taste. This new formulation is more of an ordinary whiskey except that it has a harsh forward taste. And the unique taste the port added is completely missing. There's really no reason to buy this.

Easy to drink, delicious!
Rookie whiskey drinker here... but after tasting over a dozen different whiskeys this is fantastic. I could drink this all night long! Definitely on the sweeter side, that port showing through. Hmm nice : )
