Overall happy I tried it!!

The Bulleit old fashioned cocktail comes in a very attractive, orange colored vintage style glass bottle. The bottle is definitely eye catching, solid, and pretty heavy. I was not expecting it to be a big bottle, but more of a single serving. First thoughts: It is strong! It smelled very strong and like basic bullet whiskey, I was hoping I'd smell the aromas of the orange bitters. The drink itself doesn't really come close to a hand-made cocktail. The whiskey certainly tastes good, but it lacks the flavors of bitters, orange, and cherry that make an old fashioned unique. I took a couple of sips to get use to it, thinking the flavors would eventually hit me. I ended up slightly doctoring it up with bitters I had at home and then more notes of cherry came through. I would buy it again for a party because of the attractive bottle, but have it displayed with ingredients to jazz it up, knowing someone may need to do so. Overall it's a great party drink that I would buy again.

I liked how convenient this was! All I had to do was pour this over some ice and I was able to immediately enjoy a delicious cocktail, comparable to the one I make!
