Ruby-Red color, bright and deep.
Nose
Intense nose, with a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the oak (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut), enriched by the complex aromas developed during bottle ageing.
Palate
Very attractive on the palate, with ripe fruit and spices, tobacco and toasted oak. Elegant and soft tannins, middle weight, long and complex finish.

This wine was ok!...
This wine was ok! Since it was somewhat mid-priced for me (around $15), I expected to feel like the taste was very special. I was also excited to try it, because the description said it had notes of coconut which sounds delicious. However, it had a very tangy flavor and a short finish. With the coconut notes, I expected it to have a darker taste and be less sour, but this was not the case at all. I'm no wine expert, so I honestly don't know if this wine is any good or not, but it wasn't my style. I did not taste the flavors that were highlighted on the back of the bottle.

I love red wines and...
I love red wines and this wine is up there in my book of ratings. Its a smooth body great tasking wine. I will continue to buy this on a regular basis.
