I think I got spoiled...
I think I got spoiled by having this be my first time trying a single malt. It is smooth and a beautiful mix of flavors. 12 year is affordable for me for a good bottle, I've tried 15 year but it does start to get pricey. I think this makes a wonderful gift and is great for anyone just starting out.

Give us hope
Put me with the folks who are terribly annoyed with the stopper/bottle/cap design. I see comments going back 2 years without a company response. Is that a tacit shut up and drink? A prelude to a fine scotch shouldn't be tainted by a poor pour.
