glenfiddich 15 year old solera reserve single malt scotch whisky

very drinkable

This is a really nice spirit. I prefer mine with a little water, it makes it mellow and a good sipping drink. Beautiful caramel color and subtle nose. overall very good!

Oh so smooooooth!

I was very excited to be in this campaign since I really enjoy good whiskey! Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Single Malt had been around on the shelf of liquor store for as long as I remember but I usually would get the 12 year old bottle, so it was interesting to gab the 15, a little more mature and little more expensive sister. I love the the box the bottle came in and the rich golden amber color but it is really about the liquor itself. I like whisky neat so i feel like i really get pure and true taste. I find Glendfiddich to be smooth and velvety and therefore very approachable to serve neat. Personally, I thought it performed well in Old Fashion but was slightly too gentle for other coctails and with additions of mixers.
