Great flavor good value

This Mount Gay rum was a crisp medium bodied rum with notes of vanilla and caramel and maybe some fruity notes as well. A distinct and delicious flavor, and a great value bottle. Great to drink on its own.

Potent but Tasty

It's a pretty solid rum. It's potent and the initial taste has a bite to it. It kinda kicks you in the throat at first, settles out quickly, but then leaves a syrupy mouthfeel and aftertaste, but otherwise has good flavor. The smell is kinda of sweet.
