Not as sweet as most rums

We enjoyed trying Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum. It does have a strong alcohol taste and aroma of bourbon/whiskey since it was matured in both casks. After trying it, I prefer more of a spiced rum. Adding lime does give it a nice flavor for my honey who likes it straight. I like it ok with Coke but probably won't buy again just because of my taste preferences.
