Haight Ashbury embraces Amaro
Notes of sandalwood and fir - incense and a girl named Sunny flashing a skirt from an Indian bedspread - sophisticated Italian afternoons on a patio over the sea meets California hippie memories. Earthy, forested, and bright red from cochineal (and, no, not vegan.) Wonderful with gin and vermouth, on its own as a spritz, or with rum in a Junglebird.
